COUNTRY singer- songwriter Dan Murphy will help rugby league fans celebrate or commiserate on Saturday when he plays Werris Creek's Commercial Hotel.

The show will be held after the second division rugby league grand final, which Werris Creek is hosting.
"It's a home game, so it will be a big night," he said.
"It will be a solo show, but an upbeat show with plenty of dancing, covers and a few originals by request. And I'll be taking requests, so a good time will be had by all."
This will be the last chance to catch Murphy before he returns to Sydney, with his next show in Tamworth not until November 7.
He's also working hard on booking his Tamworth Country Music Festival gigs and has had plenty of requests to do another album.
"I've got a fairly good catalogue of songs, it's just a matter of getting a studio and time," Murphy said.
