The Tamworth Gymnastics Club hosted the event, and took their fair share of silverware, coming out on top of the standings in the inter-club competition.
The Tamworth girls also held their own in the individual events, taking plenty of medals in the apparatus categories and shining across the board.
Jorja McCluand and Kelsey Dietrich both took gold in the Level 3 category, while Sophie Walker and Scarlett Coppola took silver.
In Level 4 Saphire Kuczer, Georgia Goodwin and Abbey McGrath all went home winners, while in Level 5 Paige Seaton and Skyler Dowden finished on top.
Sydney gymnasts swept all divisions in Level 6, although Caitlin Ham competed hard to take a silver.
Tamworth Club coach Jan McGinnity said the weekend was a huge success with gymnasts from at least 13 other centres across the state competing.
“All in all the event was very successful and finished on Saturday night with a huge party in the marquee where the girls learnt some line dancing and met many new friends,” McGinnity said.
“The event was so successful bookings have already been made for accom-modation next year, which is a great sign for the club and sport.”
In the team events Tamworth took out first and second in level three, with two teams competing, they also took gold in level five and were runner-up in level four.
