A TAMWORTH pair has been arrested in connection with a string of robberies of pharmacies on the Central Coast.

Rachel Ruth Butler and Marcus Trindall were intercepted by detectives from an undercover police operation on Monday night in a car at Wamberal.
Police will allege the pair, who call Tamworth home, along with another man, were going to rob a chemist in East Gosford before they were stopped on Ocean View Dr and arrested.
Police will allege they seized a large knife and balaclavas from the vehicle before the trio were taken to the Gosford Police Station.
Trindall, 26, was charged by investigators with two counts of robbery whilst armed with an offensive weapon, and one count of conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
The charges relate to robberies at an East Gosford chemist on April 19 and June 8, while the conspiracy count relates to the alleged robbery, which was planned for Monday night.
Trindall made no application for bail in Gosford Local Court yesterday and it was subsequently refused by Magistrate Bruce Williams.
Butler, 34, along with Rodrick James Darcy, 39, were charged with conspiracy to commit robbery whilst armed with an offensive weapon in relation to the alleged planned robbery on Monday night.
The pair were unsuccessful in their bids for bail after it was denied by Magistrate Williams yesterday.
Strike Force Bevam was established by detectives from State Crime Command’s Robbery and Serious Crime Squad and Brisbane Water police to investigate the robberies, during which prescription drugs were stolen, and culminated in Monday’s arrests, as well as a simultaneous raid on a home in East Gosford.
A second woman was arrested at the Albany St home and a number of items of interest to the investigation were also seized.
The 23-year-old was charged with robbery whilst armed in relation to the robbery of an East Gosford chemist in April.
