I appreciate Mr Snell taking the time to put his concerns in writing, and even though it did not arrive in my office via the usual path, I will happily respond.

Firstly, I am pleased he received my flyer and specifically highlighted my “Pinocchio” list as he affectionately called it.
I have put this list in writing to remind everyone what I am fighting for during my second term as member for Tamworth.
In response to the Essential Energy comments, 16 bills have passed since the election, the partial lease of the poles and wires being one of these.
I specify “partial”, as The Nationals were the only party who fought hard to keep Essential Energy in public hands to protect regional jobs. Essential Energy is not being leased.
Once this partial lease proceeds, the Tamworth electorate will reap enormous benefits in further funding for roads, bridges, tourism, health, better equipped schools as well as driving down power prices, just to mention a few.
Please do not underestimate my passion for the people of the Tamworth electorate and my hunger for building a better region.
I look forward to getting a “bloody nose” on behalf of my electorate.
