Mick Carter is unavailable for Saturday’s postponed Final, reported TBA’s Robert Chandler yesterday.
“Unfortunately Mick is out,” Chandler advised The Leader.
“He’s been playing well, improving every game at first base.”
Carter was just one of a number of former first grade stars to come out of retirement to play or coach in the unique Charity League.
Four teams were drafted from the current playing pool to play a tournament that was to finish last Saturday but postponed because of the inclement weather.
That replay will start around 2.10pm Saturday with Mick Martin Electronic Security hoping to beat the unbeaten Chandlers Tree Service which will be missing Brad Redshaw.
