The victims in their perception are able to describe their assailants wearing hooded garments, track pants, sneakers, etcetera.
Does this indicate that our society again has to be subjected to these recreant perpetrators who reside in the physiological environment that trigger these blatant misdeeds?
It is the victim of these horrid acts that are traumatised by the attackers.
The persistent perception of the victims is: “Will it reoccur?”
How does one cope with this dread?
Do the court officials assimilate in their minds the seriousness of these afflictions that have been experienced by the victims?
Does the period of detention, if issued, befit the crime?
Does community service achieve the ultimate glory of re-entry, after completion, to sensibility and a crimeless Utopia?
Cela va sans dire – that goes without saying.
