Katrina May Copeland was arrested on Saturday afternoon after an investigation into the illegal use of credit cards earlier that day.
About 10.40am on Saturday, a woman was sitting at a local cafe when her handbag was stolen.
Police have been told the offender was last seen running towards Auburn St before entering a vehicle and fleeing the area.
A short time later it is alleged a female used credit cards from the stolen handbag at a local business.
Following inquiries, Moree police apprehended Copeland in Jones Ave about 4pm on Saturday before she was charged with seven counts of dishonestly obtaining financial advantage by deception and two counts of receiving stolen property.
Police will allege Copeland used credit cards stolen from an Auburn St home.
She spent the weekend in custody and failed in her bid for bail in Moree Local Court yesterday.
Magistrate Michael O’Brien found she was an unacceptable risk and refused bail, ordering her to stay in custody until the case returns to court later this month.
