A resuscitation certificate course conducted by Royal Life Saving will be offered to the region’s volunteers at a course on Thursday, September 20.
The course will include theory and practical experience in the lifesaving techniques of cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and associated emergency care and at its conclusion, participants will be awarded a resuscitation certificate from Royal Life Saving.
The certificate is recognised as a prerequisite and a safety standard for many employment categories and industries and is valid for one year.
Numbers for the course are limited to 15 per session and there are two sessions on offer.
They will be held in the Britten Room of the Tamworth Community Centre at a cost of $20 per volunteer and $35 per paid worker.
Inquiries should be directed to Rachel Palmer at the Tamworth Community Centre before September 19.
