The city is dropping from Level 3 to Level 2 water restrictions after the recent rain boosted Chaffey Dam’s level above 41 per cent.
The new level means householders can again use hand-held hoses, instead of buckets, to water their gardens from 5pm to 7pm daily.
However, the use of fixed hoses, sprinklers, sprays and microjet sprays remains banned.
