Helen Ryan, 52, is already serving a maximum 36-year term after being convicted of murdering Jeffrey Ryan.
Her mother, Coralie Coulter, was also convicted of murder and was jailed for a minimum of 18 years.
Mr Ryan, a 48-year-old grazier, died after he was shot by a hitman in 2009 on the $1.1 million farm at Duri, near Tamworth, that he shared with his wife.
In sentencing Ryan last year, Justice Megan Latham said she "deliberately and methodically plotted to have her husband killed" after he ended their 15-year relationship and cut her stake in his will, which included their farm.
Ryan, her mother and sister , Ganene Coulter, eventually turned on each other.
Ganene, 42, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to murder and agreed to testify against her mother and sister in return for a 30 per cent discount on her sentence.
In Central Local Court today it emerged that Ryan has now been charged with perverting the course of justice shortly after being arrested in December 2010.
It is alleged that she gave a false affidavit during a NSW Supreme Court bail application on December 9, 2010.
The application was successful and she was released on bail for nearly a year before being jailed again.
Should she be found guilty of perverting the course of justice, she faces a significant extension of her sentence.
The matter will return to court on October 2.
