The Andrew Donohue-coached Swans celebrated their first win of the TAFL season at No 1 Oval last week when they overran the TAFL’s newest team, Moree Suns, with a second-half blitz.
The Swans kicked 19.9 123 to the Suns’ 7.5 47, kicking 14 goals in the final two terms.
Thomas Byrnes snared six, four of them in the final quarter as well, but they face a New England Nomads who lost their first game of the season to the Tamworth Kangaroos but have bounced back with big wins over Inverell Saints and Gunnedah Bulldogs.
The Nomads also kicked 19 goals last week in a 66-point win over the Bulldogs in Gunnedah.
Captain-coach Zac Economou led the way with six goals while Dave Richards and Jed Ellis-Cluff kicked four apiece.
Meanwhile, winless Narrabri Eagles and Moree Suns are both at home today.
The Eagles host Haydon Chappel and his Inverell Saints at Leitch Oval while Nick O’Sullivan and the Moree Suns have the Bulldogs on the prowl at Taylor Oval.
