Yesterday’s lunch was moved to the selling ring at the Australian Equine Livestock and Events Centre after the heavens threatened to open, showcasing a different backdrop for the finale of this year’s Taste Tamworth Festival.
Several courses, of spiced lamb fillet, venison and juniper berry terrine, crusted chicken breast, and popcorn ice cream, were devoured by attendees, including, from left, Emma Vedeler, Renee Chappell, Beth Kerr, Sophie Waller, Gowri Raman and Maddie Baily.
