It was interesting to see Prime Minister Abbott say “You can’t just Google a particular vaccine, see some already discredited claim and decide you won’t do it” but it seems many in his government do exactly that with climate change.

The science is in with both of them.
Vaccines work and climate change is real and needs serious action to minimise its consequences.
Some vague plan to have “Direct Action” some time in the future is not a serious action.
