But who do I blame for frequent electricity failures? Who’s responsible for these inconveniences?
I’m most irate about having to write this letter by LED lamps and not having ablutions, due to the electric pump being on the blink because of the blackout.
The folly of Essential Energy’s inability to prevent these blackouts of three to four hours’ duration is beyond comprehension.
In our little “valley of tranquility” we pay to have the power to do the household chore of cooking.
But hang on – my dinner has gone cold in the oven.
Bread and butter for sustenance again.
If the medical profession can transplant human organs and scientists can send a man to the Moon, why can’t our electricity providers invent or install a diverter of lightning to substations?
The manufacturers of industrial and rural electric energisers have diverters installed to prevent this event.
