At the National Appaloosa Championships, held at AELEC last week, the four successful youngsters have won the right to compete at the Appaloosa Youth World Show in July 2016, with all competitors aged between 14 and 16 years.
Eligible youth were invited to submit an application to the Australian Appaloosa Association. The lucky girls selected are Prezlea Brouggy (NSW), Holly Gutterson (NSW), Siobhan Kurtzer (NSW) and Jessica
Pascoe (SA).
They will travel to America with team manager Meaghan Hennessy and her assistant Patricia Thompson and will spend about six weeks in the USA where they will undergo intensive training before they compete at the world show.
All the girls are busy fundraising to help with travel and training costs. If anyone would like to donate towards the trip they should contact the Australian Appaloosa Association Ltd office on 6765 7969 or email info@appaloosa.org.au
