Also, I think I am correct in saying Tony Windsor and Peter Draper were the men behind the Werris Creek hospital being built.
They were also instrumental in gaining funds for the Tamworth hospital upgrade, Chaffey Dam and Barraba pipeline.
It is about time credit was given where it is due and should not be claimed by others who were not in government at that time.
