Raced around a tight, 700m circuit in the CBD, the cycling was fast and furious, said Tamworth Cycling Club president Ray Griffin.
“It was a brilliant day,” Griffin said.
“It’s always great racing though because it is hard. You need a lot of strength and technical skills because the turns are sharp.”
It was a good day for Griffin and his Baiocchi Griffin Private Wealth Cycling team which won both the A- and B-grade races with Glenn Mathiske (A) and Darren Traill (B) successful.
