Mr Haslam lost his battle with cancer last Tuesday and will be remembered as the face of a national movement to legalise medical marijuana.
Tributes have flowed from all corners of the country, with Mr Haslam praised for his courage, determination and humanity.
His final farewell will be held at Tangaratta Vineyards at 2pm today and will follow a private cremation ceremony.
Mr Haslam’s mum, Lucy, said she had been overwhelmed by the outpouring of grief for her son.
She was hopeful today’s ceremony would be an affirmation of Mr Haslam’s life.
“We want it to be a celebration,” she said. “People will have the opportunity to remember him as they want to and we want it to be relaxed and informal.”
A wake will be held on the winery grounds following the ceremony.
