The two men accused of planning a terrorist attack in Sydney with a knife and a machete will apply for bail next month, with video and photographic evidence from police to be shown during the hearing.

On a day in which Central Local Court was thrown into chaos by a blackout, the barrister representing Mohammad Kiad and Omar Al-Kutobi said his clients would seek conditional release on March 16.
Mr Kiad appeared briefly from Metropolitan Remand Centre at Silverwater jail in prison greens with his head shaved and his beard trimmed short.
Mr Al-Kutobi did not appear.
The barrister for the pair, Deone Provera from Garfield Barwick Chambers, said he had spoken to his clients and that they intended to apply for bail on the next occasion.
He said he had not been employed privately by the pair but was "assisting Legal Aid".
The Commonwealth prosecutor, Kay Marinos, said that photographic and video evidence would form part of the evidence against the two men.
"Is that likely to be shown during the bail application?" Central Local Court magistrate Les Mabutt asked.
"Yes, your honour," Ms Marinos said.
She said the police statement of facts in relation to the matter was currently four pages long but that "it is expected that will change".
Magistrate Mabutt ordered that police provide the full brief of evidence to the defence by April 24.
Police allege the pair were poised to harm or kill someone using a large knife on Tuesday before counter-terrorism police raided their home at Riverview Road, Fairfield.
Police say they found a machete, a hunting knife, a homemade Islamic State flag and a video recording. It is likely this video will form part of the evidence to be tendered during next month's bail application.
It's believed one of the men starred in the video, which referred to committing a terrorist attack in the name of Islamic State on Tuesday.
It will be alleged that the two were going to undertake an act of terrorism in Australia as revenge for incidents overseas.
On Wednesday prosecutors said the allegations against the men were so serious that there would be an application that they be dealt with in the NSW Supreme Court – the highest court in NSW that usually deals with murders and very large instances of drug supply or fraud.
Court documents show that Mr Al-Kutobi and Mr Kiad live together at Riverview Road.
