The 10-year-old Lochinvar mare had her 108th start at Tamworth Paceway last Friday night and won for the fourth time in the first race of the 2015 Golden Guitar Finals night.
“We brought her up for the carnival,” trainer John Glover said.
“We just camp over there and she’s just improved out of sight.”
The music festival has her humming, he joked after she had run a close third to Mitrhys Magic at the previous meeting.
Glover had retired her three years ago.
“We tried to get her in foal but she had a problem with her ovaries,” he said.
“And she looked so good in the paddock we put her back in work.”
She is in his stable too.
“I had four in but spelled the other three,” he said. Nathan Carroll drives the mare and was delighted to get a late call up.
“I love this carnival,” he said.
“We had three winners last year. Just love it. We come here for 10 days. It’s got a great future.”
He was hoping he would have more luck later in the night too.
“I’ve got two in the one race,” he said.
“Josh Willick is driving one for me while I’m on the other one. It needs a claiming driving.”
Willick drove Bluchipboy while Nathan Carroll handled Blacks A Buzzin but they were unplaced behind Nathan Xuerub and Red River Franco.
