I'M STARTING to get a bit sad because I know this party only has four more days to go. So, get out among it early and stay out late.

Start with the Bob Corbett Band at Wests' Diggers at 8.30am it doesn't get any better. Then support breast cancer charities by heading to the Mayor vs Music Celebrities lawn bowls competition at South Tamworth Bowlo from 9.30am until about noon. This is going to be competitive sport at its most brutal all in the name of charity.
If you're headed out of town, Nundle is the only place to go they pretty much have their own festival happening there and Big Daddy's Cajun Blues Party is on from 10am.
The legendary (and I don't use that word lightly) Eric Bogle is down in the Dungeon at the Services Club at 10.30am, then the Battle of the Bluegrass gets under way from 11am at the town hall.
If you love pigs like I do, the cute factor will have you going to the Locomotive Hotel for the pig races at 11am. As long as they're undercover and well-hydrated, I will be there cheering on the miniature pigs.
An interesting one for the day is Back to Lacquer by the National Film and Sound Archive at the community centre in the Britten Room, where recordings will be done in the same format as that used at Sun Studio.
For those Lee Kernaghan fans among you, no doubt Peel St will be packed when he takes to the stage at Toyota Fanzone at 12.30pm.
My pick for 1.30pm is Sara Storer at Wests.
You know I love a good band name and the Green Mohair Suits are at the Post Office Hotel from 2pm. Then, back at Fanzone, we should have the screaming girls for Brothers3 at 3pm, followed by The Pigs at 3.30pm and all their antics.
Doug Bruce and the Tailgaters are a festival favourite and performing at Wests' Diggers at 4pm, or grab your tickets and catch Troy Cassar-Daley and his Streets of Old Tamworth show at TRECC at 4.30pm.
I saw Bridget O'Shannessy perform at the Roll of Renown and she is going to be huge in years to come, so catch her while you can at the Family Hotel at 5pm.
Americana in the Park takes over Bicentennial Park at 7pm, or there's Codie Prevost at The Pub, under the sails, also at 7pm. You can grab some dinner while you're there.
Back in Nundle, the Urban Chiefs are at the Peel Inn at 7pm.
Kaylens Rain, Kaylee Bell and Jared Porter are #liveandloud at the Courthouse Hotel at 7.30pm this is going to be a fantastic show. I saw the show when they came through town last year and it's not to be missed. For those who like their country a little more traditional, head to the Jimmy Little Memorial Concert at TRECC at 8pm. Kevin Bennett is out the back of the Tamworth Hotel at 9pm go and see how many fellow musicians are hanging on his every word at this one and, at 11.30pm, there's nowhere to be but seeing the Jess Holland Band at the Tudor Hotel.
It's going to be a long weekend, so rest up when you can.
