For those who love listening to songwriters speak about their work, the only place to be at 9am is the Services Club with Writers in the Round, featuring Amber Lawrence, Allan Caswell and Roger Corbett, who are three of our best.
A special concert event is on at 10am with the Tamworth Country Music Disability Concert, hosted by Steve Charles, at Kootingal Bowling Club, or catch Ted Egan Commemorates the Anzacs: 100 Years On at the Frog and Toad Function Centre.
Head out to Nundle at 11am for Kirsty Lee Akers and Friends at The DAG Sheep Station.
At noon, Erica Sunshine Lee and Mitchell Shadlow are on at the Albert Hotel for lunch, or catch Michael Bryers at the Services Club. If you want to head out of the CBD, the Oasis has Doug McIntyre at 1pm, or support the Royal Flying Doctor Service at West Tamworth Bowling Club with Lex K.
At 3pm you'll be looking for a rest and some good airconditioning, so get to the Forum 6 Cinemas for the Frank "The Chookman" Turton documentary by Marc Cousin.
At 4pm, the Aboriginal Cultural Showcase officially opens, with Buddy Knox, Loren Ryan, Aimee Hannon, Scotty Troutman, Breanna Krauss and Taylor Williams, at the Kable Ave amphitheatre and is always a place of fantastic talent.
Pioneer Chad Morgan will be in the Locomotive Hotel's Engine Room with his full show at 5pm, then the Aristocrat Country Entertainer of the Year grand final celebrates 25 years at Wests' Diggers at 6pm.
If Celtic music is more your style, get some time with Murphy's Pigs, who are at the Post Office Hotel from 6pm.
Or, if you're after more young talent, the Capital Country Music Association Young Guns Concert is at the Calrossy School auditorium at 7pm.
At 7pm, Simply Bushed are running their Family Bush Dance at Wests, or see what talent Tamworth has to offer with the Tamworth Proud concert, featuring Aleyce Simmonds, Brett Clarke, Brent Larkham, Bolton Crook, Lawrie and Shelley Minson, Lindsay Butler, Shaza Leigh, Peggy Gilchrist, Ethan Crosby-Wolfe and Jodie Crosby, at Toyota Park.
Tamworth's Ashleigh Dallas is at The Pub from 8pm, and Those Gals Trio do a rare show at the Oasis from 8.30pm. See how much talent is homegrown?
If international music is more your taste, from 9pm Andrew Clermont will run his International Supper Club at the North Tamworth Bowling Club.
If that's not enough, get to Dan Murphy at Wests' Diggers from 11pm until late.
