A large fire in a St Marys industrial estate has been been brought under control, stopping the flames from spreading to other factories within the estate.

A second smaller spot fire broke out near the main evacuation and muster point for residents and workers of the industrial area but was quickly controlled first by Police, who were quickly on the scene with extiguishers, and then by the Fire Brigade.
Earlier on Saturday more than 100 firefighters responded to a large factory fire in the industrial estate in St Marys, where an old Bluescope Water factory had caught alight.
A spokesman for Bluescope confirmed "Bluescope Water no longer exists" and that the factory in Severn Street doesn't belong to the Bluescope group.
"We have some water tanks out in that area but the factory is no longer ours," the spokesman said.
It was reported there was a risk that hazardous chemicals were present within the Dunheved Business Park, within close proximity to the flames.
The factory is believed to cover about 600 square metres and a Fire and Rescue NSW representative confirmed the site contained chemicals without detailing what type.
Businesses were evacuated and road closures put in place. Some residents said they heard explosions prior to seeing the fire.
