His character is known for his lewdness and desperate attempts to pick up women - at least, before he got hitched to the sweet yet domineering Bernadette Rostenkowski (Melissa Rauch).
One can only imagine how Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) would react. Or Penny (Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting) for that matter.
Initially, Helberg called out at 11:03am, 10 December (US Time) for 60,000 views in 24 hours.
I'll show up naked to
@BigBang_CBS tmrw & post a pic if we hit 60k views in 24hrs of the
@NeverParisMovie trailer.

With only 28,000 views by the next day, he tried again - with true Wolowitz-like persistence. At 3:58am, 11 December (who knows why he was awake so early), he offered to post a nude picture on the Big Bang Theory set if he gets 60,000 views "today". Note that in Los Angeles time, it is still the 11 December and there is still hope for him to succeed in his quest.
Punishment? Or reward. I'll show up nude to
@BigBang_CBS & post a pic if this gets 60k views today.

The trailer is for a film called We'll Never Have Paris, a true story comedy produced by Orion Pictures. An original take on the modern bachelor struggle, Quinn (Simon Helberg) must choose between proposing to his long-term girlfriend, Devon (Melanie Lynskey), and a life of playing the field.
The field, it turns out, is not so great and Quinn realises he should be with Devon. But when Devon runs away to Paris, Quinn must win her back by competing with a charming, violin-playing Frenchman (Ebon Moss-Bachrach). Quinn's love pursuit is clumsy and imperfect - just like a real, modern romance.
