While the temperature was a lot less than the 40 degrees-plus that had greeted the Tiger and Cup GNA squads a few weeks ago, the intensity was hotter, GNA manager Scott Bone said.
“We’re doing a lot of revision this morning from the last camp.
“Things like working on the tackle techniques, working on the marker play and getting back into the defensive line.
“We’re also working on the attack, or the shape as they call it – working on dummy half and playing off the pivots.”
The GNA squads return to Jack Woolaston Oval on December 13 for another session at the end of which the two squads might have an “opposed session”.
The GNA then goes into a Christmas break, with the squads due back on January 18.
