They shot +5 to win the scratch event by four shots from Walcha’s John Izzard and Barraba’s Amanda Koopman.
Howlong’s Chris Teddy and Maurice Marian made the long journey from near the Victorian border a worthwhile one when they won the handicap event.
Teddy and Marian finished +13 in the handicap event, two-shot winners from Uralla’s Geoff Clutterbuck and Loraine Glock.
Saturday’s CNDGA Mixed Pairs followed on from Friday’s Uralla Vets Open and preceded yesterday’s Uralla Fourball Open.
70 players teed off in Saturday’s CNDGA Mixed pairs with a big field of around 140 playing yesterday’s Uralla Fourball Open.
That was won by Uralla’s Scott Breen and Armidale’s Mark Wiccag.
They finished with +13, one shot clear of the Dorrigo combination of John Fahey and Peter Herwick.
Armidale pairing Brett Woodward and John Coote won the scratch competition with +8 ahead of Murray and Uralla’s Neil Bullen on +3.
