All 12 competed exceptionally, coach Jan McGinnity said.
“Four of the 12 came home as State Champions in their respective divisions and a further four gymnasts became apparatus state champions.
“The club was extremely pleased with the results received by all girls.”
Paige Seaton, competing on Level four 10 years, placed third on vault and beam to place second overall in her division.
Skyler Dowden also managed a second overall trophy, placing first on beam, third on bars and sixth on floor in the level four 11 years division.
Not to be outdone, sister Hannah Dowden placed third overall in the 13 years plus division, placing first on bars, third on beam and sixth on floor.
Lexi May, competing in the 12 years division, placed second on bars and fourth on vault to claim the third overall champion trophy.
Josie Douglas, competing in the 11 years division, brought home a silver medal on bars and also placed fifth on vault while Ellie Hannaford placed fifth on bars in the 12 years division and teammate Jemma Baker picked up a silver medal on floor and placed fifth on vault in the same division.
The level four team of Skyler Dowden, Seaton, May, Hannah Dowden and Douglas placed fifth overall in the team division which was a good warm-up for their next competition, the national championships in Melbourne shortly.
The Level five gymnasts performed well, with Holly Balcombe placing third on bars and Charlotte Fay third on vault whilst Caitlin Ham placed fourth on vault and sixth on floor.
McGinnity said the club was entering a busy period, with the Level 1-3 girls travelling to Sydney this weekend to contest their State titles whilst the Level 4 and 5 girls, who just finished their State Championships, will continue to train hard in preparation for their tilt at the national championships.
Following this, the club is holding its own club championships and Recreational and Kindergym carnivals.
The club is also gearing up for its 21st birthday celebrations in early December, McGinnity said.
She said any former competitive gymnasts or committee members are asked to contact her (0419 217157) to receive their personal invitation or to email the club (Jodie.mcginnity.1981@gmail.com).
