This is understandable – from the Turkish viewpoint.
The Kurds are a large ethnic group occupying much of eastern Turkey, some of Syria and some of northern Iraq.
They have been waging war for decades, either a propaganda one or a shooting one, against Turkey because they want to establish their own nation – Kurdistan.
If, or when, the Kurds and their friends succeed in defeating the ISIS mob, they will immediately use the armour they have been given by the allies to declare themselves independent of Turkey.
I’m no clairvoyant, but I’ll bet London to a brick that this will happen.
Trouble is that Turkey is friends with NATO.
Just now, we – the Australians Americans and friends, are helping the Kurds against the ISIS mob.
What happens next?
