THE library will shuffle off its dusty covers to bring children novel experiences at the Tamworth Library open day tomorrow.

But it’s not all about books – kids will be invited to get creative at a pop-up makerspace station to experiment with 3D printing, badge making, lego and craft.
There will be a family storytime session at 11am for families to enjoy songs, rhymes and crafts.
An Instagram photo booth will be set up for locals to grab a prop, strike a pose and share their snap with the library.
Saturday’s open day will also include a second-hand book sale and author talks at 10am and 2pm.
