The Northern Daily Leader will tomorrow publish the 120-page Annual Spring Guide, the most comprehensive real estate guide of the year for the city.
Inserted in tomorrow’s Leader, it will include hundreds of properties listed by 21 local agents, as well as the latest real estate news.
President of the Tamworth Association of Real Estate Agents Richie Thornton said the timing of the guide’s release was critical.
“Spring is to real estate agents what Christmas is to retailers,” Mr Thornton said.
“Everything looks better – flowers bloom, the grass goes from brown to green, everyone is in a good mood.
“The Spring Guide must be one of the biggest real estate guides in the nation and it’s certainly the biggest showcase of local properties you will see all year.”
He said with almost 1000 properties sold in Tamworth this year, it appeared the slumbering market had finally re-awakened.
“I project we’ll end up selling around 1450 properties by the end of 2014; we haven’t done those sort of numbers since 2003,” Mr Thornton said.
Northern Daily Leader Domain advertising co-ordinator Nicole Whiting said the guide was hot off the presses yesterday afternoon.
“There are a lot of quality properties in there and we are very excited about this year’s guide,” Ms Whiting said.
“It’s a great time of year for having a look at what’s on the market.”
The guide includes dozens of open house details, she said.
