The new program is the first step that all players take towards the 2016 Rio Olympics.
A poor showing for the opens may spell the end of the side although the junior side is going great guns.
Development officer Garry Walsh said the side has a couple of highly skilled players.
Warialda High teacher Dale Beattie has taken the reins as coach and has also cultivated a generation of rugby players out of the school.
Over half of the final 12-girl Central North squad will likely be from the school, which recently won the statewide Coast to Country cup.
The Country Championships are in Coffs Harbour at the start of November.
The CN squad had a second training run on Sunday at Chillingworth Oval and will only get two more before the championships.
“It will be a pretty handy side,” Walsh said.
“A few schools come into play but it is dominated by Warialda.
“Dale has done a great job there.”
Two Warialda players, Izzy Hunt and Rhiannon Byers, are expected to lead the way for Central North at the Country Championships, and perhaps go on to further honours.
