Talented cartoonist, author and popular television presenter Cartoon Dave, or Dave Hackett, was in Tamworth on Tuesday conducting cartoon workshops with his trademark humour and laidback style.
The cartoon maestro delighted students at Tamworth Public School before an afternoon workshop at Tamworth Library with 25 enthusiastic children, who learned to draw everything from zombies to elephants.
Librarian Narelle Lightfoot said the kids had a ball and Cartoon Dave’s visit was the perfect start to their program of school holiday activities.
Lego Quest, Introduction to Tinkercad, 3D printing and craft are on the line-up, with bookings essential.
