The race draws riders from all over the state because of its unique format.
The Champion of Champions is the best rider from across three different disciplines on the same bike.
Riders will do motocross, dirt track and speedway, and have two goes at each discipline.
The Champion of Champions will bethe best across all three, as well as a junior champion of champions.
There will be over 15 different classes across the junior and senior riders.
The dirt track has a dogleg configuration that will challenge riders and entertain the crowd.
Harry Pyne was a Tamworth motorbike legend, being in the industry for over 50 years before his death in 2002.
Harry’s wife, Dulcie, checked out a couple of bikes and had a chat to organisers Graeme Elms and Rob Bayliss at Nazareth House yesterday.
The 92-year-old said she spent her life around bikes as soon as she met Harry, who had recently returned from WWII.
“He was in a motorbike section,” Dulcie said.
Dulcie reminisced about riding bikes herself, and fondly remembers being in a side car with Harry at the wheel.
“It is really nice that his name will go on,” Dulcie said.
“He was in it for over 50 years.”
Elms said they were lucky to have a multi-discipline event.
“We are one of few clubs that holds a multi-discipline event in one day,” Elms said.
Former local winners include Ben Clark and Matt McDonald.
The first race will be at 11.30am, with dirt track and speedway from 3.30pm and sign on from 9am.
