In the ultimate paddock-to-plate promotion, a Tamworth pub has snapped up two of the top lots at last weekend’s Landmark Beef Championships, planning to serve almost every bit of the beasts at its bistro – and documenting the  whole process in photos.

IMAGINE growing up surrounded by clowns, acrobats, animals and the shimmering lights of the circus scene.

You’d “follow the sun” around the nation year in and year out and perform for thousands of adoring fans.

This is what life was like growing up for fifth-generation circus performer Shane Lennon, and now with his young son following in his footsteps, he’s brought a new show to Tamworth for local fans.

Overnight temperatures falling to between minus 1 and 6 above zero with daytime temperatures reaching between 12 and 20.
