The tour included a visit to Bullabelalie, a 14,900 hectare property near Weilmoringle owned by one
of our members, Ed Fessey, who has been undertaking on-farm drought preparedness work.
NSW Farmers felt it was important for our new Premier, who was accompanied by ministers Hodgkinson and Humphries, to fully understand the conditions on the ground that our farmers are dealing with to enable his government to move forward on the development of future drought policy which is currently in transition.
Our association will continue to work with the government to ensure our members get the support they need to help them stay viable through this and future droughts.
