Yesterday, Minister for Roads and Freight Duncan Gay directed the NSW Vehicle Standards Working Group to review bullbar regulations.
The group will work closely with NSW Farmers and manufacturers to address concerns surrounding the regulations, established in 2003.
NSW Farmers president Fiona Simson said they looked forward to being involved in the review.
“The minster is taking immediate action on this issue following NSW Farmers meeting with the Roads & Maritime Services at AgQuip this week. In the meantime, NSW Farmers are requesting that current defect notices be repealed.”
