I would like to add a little flavour to the Longyard, Goonoo Goonoo Rd topic – the subject of recent NDL news stories.

I am appreciative of those with vision and are willing to finally raise the matter on my favourite culinary delight of the Goonoo Goonoo Rd’s tracks survival course.
As some would know, I have had this simmering in the pot for many moons and know of many who also reach boiling point after many near misses.
Plus a hit by one whose name I’m not game to mention.
The National Party and National Party Council like to put a dampener on this topic as they have no wish to be hauled over the coals over a matter that from here on may get a little too hot to handle.
The commerce and recreation complexes at the Longyard are a great mix and blend together very well.
Unfortunately, in the cooking, the cake collapses in the middle and is a little soggy, missing a main ingredient to accentuate its success.
It’s good to see others recognising the problems, without me being self-raising. I was beginning to get a little tart over it.
The long-term planning ingredients for the Longyard were creative but with the further additives planned for this pie now, it may turn out a little crusty.
It appears that the 18 years overdue infrastructure planning was done by the National Party’s
lampoon cooking academy with no apparent play dough.
Or in other words, they made a meal of it!
