A PERSON has been taken to hospital after being hit by an alleged stolen car at 3am yesterday in West Tamworth.
The alleged stolen vehicle was driven along Cossa St, West Tamworth when it hit a pedestrian, who was taken to taken to Tamworth hospital by ambulance. The car was recovered a short time later, abandoned. Tamworth police are asking for anyone with information on the driver to come forward.
Thieves steal power tools
POWER tools have been stolen in a break-and-enter on a shipping container between 6pm on Wednesday and 7am yesterday at Forest Hills, Tamworth.
Tamworth police are seeking any information from the public in relation to the matter.
Offenders have also broken into golf buggy storage sheds in Gunnedah between 5.30pm Wednesday and 8.20am yesterday.
No items have been reported missing as yet, but police are investigating.
