In Moree Local Court yesterday Senior Constable Terrence John Payne pleaded not guilty to driving in a manner dangerous to the public, negligent driving and neglect of duty.
After a brief of evidence was compiled into the alleged incidents, Magistrate Darryl Pearce accepted the pleas.
The case will return to court in November for a hearing where witnesses will be called to give evidence.
Police allege the offences occurred while Payne was on duty on September 9 last year.
The senior constable was charged by way of a future court attendance notice or summons in February this year, following an internal investigation into his alleged actions.
