Tamworth International Eventing is holding its first One Day Event for 2014 this weekend in Tamworth’s acclaimed arena.
180 riders and 269 horses from around NSW and Queensland will compete in 10 classes from EvA60 up to CNC3*.
This weekend’s International will showcase local and national riders before the month-long showjumping and eventing series finishes in Quirindi next weekend with its annual Three Day Event.
Last weekend’s Winter Showjumping Championship at AELEC was the second in the series followed by this weekend’s International One Day Event and then next weekend’s Quirindi Three Day Event.
Quirindi’s junior jumper, Sophie Hamilton-Smith, will be hoping to continue her good form in this weekend’s EvA95 in AELEC before shining at her home Three Day Event at Quirindi Showground.
