Rebecca Mannion, 36, has pleaded not guilty to aggravated sexual assault in company and inflict actual bodily harm, and has been committed for trial.
Two other charges of affray and assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company will carry on a certificate to be taken into account during the trial or if found guilty, any sentence.
It comes after the prosecution served a lengthy brief of evidence against the accused, stemming from an incident on Australia Day.
The prosecution will allege Mannion was involved in a violent attack in Deepwater.
Much of the case has been suppressed for legal reasons, but the victim was later treated in hospital before being released.
Mannion waived her right to a committal hearing last week before she was committed for trial in Armidale District Court by Magistrate Karen Stafford.
She will remain on bail while a trial date, believed to be next year, is confirmed.
