In support of colleague Leonie McConnachie, who is battling breast cancer, eight of the Coles Southgate team and one Tamworth high student have lost their locks.
They have a fundraising aim of $4500, combined with manager Lachlan Stewart’s Tamworth Celebrity Dance For Cancer fundraising.
So far, they have raised more than $2300, with more than $500 raised from donations just on Friday.
As well as shaving their hair off, the staff ran a cake stall and barbecue and raffled a television.
As fundraising fever struck Southgate, Tamworth Remedial Massage chipped in with a massage voucher donated for Mrs McConnachie and Euphoria donated a spa voucher.
The store is still accepting donations for their manager, Mr Stewart, who will dance for cancer on June 14.
