I read with interest your editorial of Thursday, August 16 in The Northern Daily Leader and wish to endorse your sentiments generally appreciating those who offer to serve on council and prepared to make personal sacrifices.
However, I am dismayed that with so many fresh faces standing in Tamworth Regional Council elections no effort has been made to provide a “Meet the Candidates” forum.
Surely this lack must give the incumbents an inside run?
