YESTERDAY: ONE person has died and a man and woman have been injured after a three-car accident on the outskirts of Tamworth.
The Manilla Rd crash occurred just before 5.30pm in the 80km/h zone near Oxley Vale, blocking the road and throwing the busy commute home into disarray for motorists.

The SES were called in to set up extra lighting as investigators tried to piece together the moments leading up to the crash.
As traffic banked up along Manilla Rd, diversions were set up around Moore Creek Rd and Bourne Ln. The road remain closed late last night.
