The sophisticated establishment on Peel St will offer a range of unique wines from across the globe, plus a number of titillating Australian drops to match the modern Australian/Mediterranean cuisine.
Dominated by steakhouses and pub fare, the wine bar adds another dimension to Tamworth’s restaurant scene that many residents have been desperately crying out for. The people behind the exciting venture, the co-owners of Addimi Espresso – Adrian, Dianne and Michael Coffey – waited about 12 months before they took the plunge and gave the green light for construction to start at the former Red Embers site.
“We wanted to test the market and make sure people felt we had something truly magic to offer,” Adrian said.
“Tamworth has embraced and encouraged us, so we have taken the plunge, and we believe our clientele will come along for the ride. Tamworth is now a destination, it has a lot to offer ... (and) there are a lot of treechangers returning to their roots for all the country has to offer and they love the atmosphere Addimi offers, so we decided it was time to expand.”
