TEENAGED hooded thieves stole cash and scrawled graffiti on walls during a break-in at Tamworth’s Centrepoint shopping centre at the weekend.

Police are scouring CCTV footage in a bid to identify the two boys, believed to be as young as 13, who broke into the centre in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The offenders stole cash and soft drinks from a business in the food court before escaping with cash from another food outlet.
An empty cash tin was recovered in a laneway near the centre following the break-in.
The first offender is described as aged in his early teens, of Caucasian appearance and wearing blue shorts and a white T-shirt, while his accomplice is a similar age, of Aboriginal appearance and wearing green shorts and a white T-shirt.

Meanwhile, police are also appealing for information into break-ins at two Peel St businesses on Monday night.
