Resident Jess Coshal said she called her husband’s work friends to drive her unwell husband to the hospital, when the good samaritans’ tyres were slashed.
“They came in to help me get him to hospital and were here for less than five minutes,” she said.
When they went outside to drive to Tamworth hospital, they realised their tyres had been slashed, along with about nine residents’ vehicles including the Coshal’s car.
Mrs Coshal said her husband’s friends had to walk to get another car and she called the police.
Tamworth police said they attended the area and searched some people who were nearby, but did not find any tools that could be used to slash tyres.
“I’m scared it’s going to happen again,” Mrs Coshal said.
“It would have been very bad for those who have to go to work early.”
After this and a number of other unrelated incidents, Mrs Coshal said she was prompted to look for a home in a different area of Tamworth.
