THREE people were being treated by paramedics following an accident between a car and a truck near Narrabri this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the Kamilaroi Highway, about 20km south of Narrabri, just after 12.30pm.
An Ambulance NSW spokesman said paramedics were treating a 40-year-old man with abdominal, shoulder, chest and head injuries.
A woman in her 30s was being treated for shoulder pain and another woman was being removed from a car by rescue personnel.
The spokesman said five ambulances were tasked to the scene aswell as the Tamworth-based Westpac Rescue Helicopter service.
Alternating stop/slow conditions are now in place on the Kamilaroi Highway at Turrawan, 21km south of Narrabri.
Emergency services remain on site working to clear the accident and fully open the highway.
While motorists are now able to pass the accident site, they are advised to allow extra travel time and expect delays as the clean up and vehicle salvage operation continues.
