A self-confessed tomboy, the Moore Creek teenager is also a rising star in the modelling world, recently returning from the Top Model Worldwide quest in London.

The striking 16-year-old (she stands at 178cm tall or nearly 5ft 11 on the old scale) was one of 43 girls from 35 countries to make the grand final of the prestigious event.

So how does a down-home girl go competing against some of the world’s hottest young fashionistas?

“It’s very competitive, very bitchy,” Miss Jennar said.

“There are a lot of mind games going on; they’re always trying to get in your head and make you think you can’t do it.

“My shoes went missing three times and my dress went missing just before I was due on stage.

“But it was still an absolutely amazing experience.”

While she didn’t win the ultimate prize, Miss Jennar won praise from the judges, who lauded her look, composure and personality.

“They said she had all the potential in the world,” Miss Jennar’s mum Vicki said.

“With more development, hard work and practice, they thought she could get to the runways of Milan.”

She also worked closely with leading fashion designers, photographers and make-up artists.

Miss Jennar’s frenetic schedule shows no sign of stopping soon.

She will compete in the finals of Face of Beauty International in Sydney in July and the Australian Supermodel of the Year competition.
