Squaring the Wheel features wacky contraptions, gutsy clowning, eccentric circus and puppetry.
Arts North West chief executive officer Jane Kreis is quite excited that such a top show for children is here and that her organisation has played a part in bringing it to the region. The tickets she has for the Glen Innes show this Saturday were only $12 each, she said.
“It’s really affordable because it’s subsidised,” Dr Kreis said.
The show is at The Civic, Gunnedah, today, The Playhouse Hotel, Barraba, tomorrow and The Chapel Theatre, Glen Innes, on Saturday.
Ms Kreis said people should phone the venues to book tickets to the daytime shows.
Wordless and visual, Squaring the Wheel is also a perfect choice for low-English speaking and hearing-impaired audiences,
Each show goes for an hour and is suitable for children aged four and up.
It also features a hands-on, 20-minute How Contraptions Work demonstration.
